Terms of Use
Last updated: July 26, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Rotten AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The rude persona
Rotten AI is designed to speak to users in a sarcastic, blunt, and insulting tone as a form of entertainment. You acknowledge that responses are intentionally rude and are not personal attacks. You will not have a claim against us based on the tone of any response.
3. Not professional advice
Responses generated by Rotten AI are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.
4. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to (a) violate laws or third-party rights, (b) attempt to generate content that targets protected characteristics, incites violence, or sexualizes minors, (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service, or (d) circumvent usage limits.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans (monthly, lifetime, and single-chat credits) are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are handled case-by-case within 14 days of purchase — contact us to request one.
7. Third-party services
The Service uses third-party providers including Supabase, Stripe, Groq, OpenAI (via Lovable AI Gateway), and Google (for optional connectors). Your use of connected accounts is governed by those providers' own terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Rotten AI name, logo, and site content are owned by us. You retain rights in the prompts you submit and the outputs generated for you, subject to the underlying model providers' terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that responses will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
